Where possible, this website meets some of the UK government recommendation of access keys to ensure accessibility to the widest possible users. Below is the list of access keys and instructions on how to use these key by browser.

Using Access Keys

Firefox 2.0

WINDOWS: Hold down ALT+SHIFT+Access key.
MAC: CTRL+Access key.

Internet Explorer 5, 6 and 7

WINDOWS: Hold down ALT+ Access key, then press RETURN / ENTER.
MAC: Hold down the CTRL + Access key.

Safari (for MAC only)

SHIFT+OPTION+ Access Key.

Opera 9.02

Press SHIFT+ESC to enter access-key mode, and a list of the available access keys will be displayed. You can then press the appropriate access key to activate the link or form input. To exit access-key mode, press SHIFT+ESC again. Access-key mode will automatically exit as soon as you press an access key, or load another page.

Text Resize

We know that users would like the option to change the text size on a visiting web page. Below is a list of ways on how to change text size in different browsers.

Firefox

WINDOWS: From the toolbar on top select VIEW > TEXT SIZE from which you can choose an option to Increase or Decrease the text size. A keyboard short cut is CTRL + (to increase the size) and CTRL – (to decrease the size).
MAC: A keyboard shortcut is ‘Apple’ + (to increase the size) and ‘Apple’ - (to decrease the size).

Internet Explorer 6 and 7

From the toolbar select VIEW > TEXT SIZE and select a resize option.

Safari

Increase the text size by using the 'Apple' + and to decrease use 'Apple' - key.
